As a Medical Aesthetician, you will be supervising the physician with patients that have undergone surgery and ablative treatments. You will perform pre and post-surgery consultation, coupled with application of glycolic peels, medical grade TCA peels, micro-dermabrasion, micro-needling, dermaplaning, lymph drainage of the face, head, and neck for pre and post-facial surgery, acne treatments, endermology, cellulite treatments, vacuum therapy, micro-current treatments, radio- frequency, cavitation mesotherapy, ultrasound therapy for skin rejuvenation, and non-ablative treatments to remove skin imperfections! Along with the medical side of aesthetics you will also learn advanced makeup techniques including to camouflage skin imperfections as well as airbrush makeup and receive a certification in the application of lash extensions which will bring together the medical side of aesthetics as well as the beauty. You will also have a choice of one of the following; microblading, permanent makeup application, or the health side of aesthetics: a certification in Personal Firtness! At this time, there is no licensure in the state of Florida for Medical Aesthetics but the application is brought about by the demand from the public that wants to look great 24/7.
