A wide range of marketability for the licensed  cosmetologist to work within franchise, private ownership establishment, and high-end resorts. The program includes hair cutting, color, texture services, nail care, makeup application, business development, retail knowledge and the concept of gaining and retaining clients as well as offering you the ability to perform nail, facial, waxing, and body services. The objectives of this program are to prepare the students for the state licensing examination in cosmetology and provide the training that will prepare them to enter into the field of cosmetology!

Hair Styling

Hair Styling

A Hair Stylist designs or maintains hairstyles. They shampoo, cut, dye and style hair. They also apply chemicals to change the texture of hair, such as permanents or straightening solutions. Stylists also teach clients about the best ways to care for their hair.

Hair Coloring

Hair coloring, or hair dyeing, is the practice of changing the hair color. The main reasons for this are cosmetic: to cover gray or white hair, to change to a color regarded as more fashionable or desirable, or to restore the original hair color after it has been discolored by hairdressing processes or sun bleaching.

What is the work of a makeup artist?

Makeup Artists are beauty practitioners who offer general makeup services or work in prosthetic design. Their primary duties include enhancing facial aesthetics through makeup, creating custom looks for clients

NOTE:  Grad. Dates are based on a 25 hour a week attendance. However, a student could complete the program in 7 ½ months by attending 40 hours per week!

permanent makeup

Permanent Cosmetics (Micro-Pigmentation) and Microblading is a relatively new trend in the United States but rapidly growing in popularity. Women everywhere are discovering they have more time and less stress when they do not have to worry about applying make-up daily. Techniques for application of this semi-permanent technique is similar to tattooing and requires special training beyond any previous training or licensure. This course will give you the information required to start your own permanent makeup business upon completion for certification. Students will be taught three main procedures that are popularly requested (eyes, lips, and brows). The instructor will be following the guidelines for supervision according to Florida Statute 61F6- 19.002 under tattooing. A complete theory in histology and physiology of the skin, color wheel, consultation, laws and rules governing micro-pigmentation, sanitation etc. will be described within this program. In addition, the Department of Health requires a 3-hour approved blood-borne pathogen and communicable disease course is required to be completed before a student can obtain a state license.

Permanent makeup is a cosmetic technique which employs tattoos (permanent pigmentation of the dermis) as a means of producing designs that resemble makeup, such as eyelining and other permanent enhancing colors to the skin of the face, lips, and eyelids.
