Cuts and Designs

Hot Towel Facial
One of the most relaxing parts of a spa facial occurs when a hot, moist towel is carefully draped over the face and left for several minutes. This practice, first used by barbers to prepare facial hair for the subsequent shaving ritual, was integrated into many spa facials as an alternative to steam. Learn why this became a staple in many spas, and how it helps men specifically!
NOTE: Restricted Barbers cannot do any type of chemical services on the hair like color and perms.Restricted Barbers can only do cuts, beard trims, mustache trims, wash, style, apply tonics on hair and scalp, and perform razor cuts to face and scalp, and treat face by performing hot towel shaves, and facials.

Master barber - 1000 hours
Today’s Barber follows a new age of direction where your professional image interacts with everyday life. As a professional Barber you have the ability for self-management, creativity abounds with the young and young at heart, and the ability to manage your own time for you and your future. Just why did that Barber pole get to be stripped, what does it all mean, how does it present itself with modern day cutting techniques and what is on the horizon as a licensed professional Barber? This program will not only teach you precise cutting skills from layered cuts to fades and designs that may come with them but proper shaving skills that transform that ordinary shave to one of proper skin treatments to ease the irritation that may come from improperly trained clients. Along with basic and up to date cutting techniques, master Barbers can color, trim, relax, and enhance the hair texture as well as advise on proper conditioning and shampooing to maintain the health and fullness of the scalp.
Hair Coloring
Branch out of just cuts and designs and learn one of the fundamental skills in all of hair! The ability to color will lead you to getting new clientele and another way to make easy money.
Beijing Beard Styling
Used to hide hair loss or patchiness, the Beijing style allows you to "color in" missing areas in your client's beard, giving a sleek, stylized design.
Microneedling
Microneedling is the use of a dermaroller or microneedling tool that uses small needles to prick the skin. The purpose of treatment is to generate new collagen and skin tissue for smoother, firmer, more toned skin. Help your clients get rid of pesky wrinkles and faults.
Perms
Learn how to apply one of the most popular hair styles today! Perms use chemical and thermal procedures to curl and style the hair, creating a look that can last for several months. This timeless look is a must have in any skilled barber's repertoire.
NOTE: Grad. Dates are based on a 25 hour a week attendance, however a student could complete the program in 7 ½ months by attending 40 hours per week!
